This beautiful portrait dates to the 1890s. The young woman is wearing a crocheted lace choker with a Star of David motif. The picture was taken by Hopps' Art Co. of Little Rock, Arkansas. At that time there was a small but culturally significant Jewish community in Little Rock, numbering about 200 families.
