Victorian Widow and Son
This is a picture of a widow wearing black for mourning and her young adult son. Her only jewelry is the large portrait brooch at her throat. It is a picture of her husband. Her son is wearing a heavy gold watch chain and large pocket watch. Their clothing is relatively simple, and he appears uncomfortable in his poorly-fitting suit. This could be his father's watch, as it is so much grander than anything else this young man is wearing.
