1889 Victorian Fob Brooch
This young woman is wearing a very unusual brooch at her throat. The bar pin itself is a typical Victorian era piece, but dangling from it are two man-sized watch fobs. These are probably mourning pieces which she is wearing in honor of her father, grandfather, husband, or brother. This photograph was taken in Windsor, Missouri by Byers W. Huey, who was 37 years old and ran the local photography studio. It is identified only by the date, 1889.
