Victorian Bracelets
This young woman believed in jewelry. In addition to the magnificent matching bracelets on each wrist, she is also wearing a bar brooch with a row of dangling charms, two rings on her right hand and at least one on her left hand, and a watch on a chain can be seen tucked into her pocket. The bracelets are the showstoppers, however. They are enameled and have what could be locket-type compartments to hold sentimental objects such as a loved one's hair. The dress may be plain and somber, but the heaps of jewelry and marvelously curly hairdo make this young woman look like a lot of fun to know!
