St. Louis Accordion Player
This late 1940s publicity still is for a performer who lived in the St. Louis, Missouri area. An earring can be glimpsed peeking out from beneath her hair and she has a large ring on the 3rd finger of her right hand and another on the middle finger of her left hand. Her most remarkable ornament, however, was this incredible accordion. She wasn't a large woman, but that was a big instrument. It must have been heavy, but she wore it well.
