Harry and Nemis - circa 1942
This young couple married in North Dakota just before Harry left to fight in World War II. He suffered a terrible head injury there, and had a long recovery. He looks so brave and proud in his uniform. Nemis is wearing a simple triple strand of graduated pearls. Her veil has a wonderful crown-like headpiece.
