John Cook and His Daughters - 1880s
This is a picture of Cheri's maternal great-great grandfather and his four daughters. Taken in the late 1880s, this photo shows the formal wear of a comfortable Minnesota farm family. The women are all wearing sash pins at their waists. Deborah has a heart-shaped brooch at her throat. Susan has a brooch at her throat and a long slider chain, which may terminate in a lorgnette or watch, but these are not in view.
