Eva Maxson of Milton, Wisconsin
This photograph was taken about 1890. It is identified as A.W. Maxson and wife and with the words "Harriet's Aunt." A.W. was Albert Maxson, a gardener. His wife was Eva Maxson. At the time of this picture, he was about 40 years old and she was about 35. Eva is wearing a simple brooch consisting of large round stones arranged in a circle. It adds a bright touch to the figured silk of her blouse.
