Edwardian Shoe Buckles - circa 1915
This demure young woman is simply and casually dressed in layers of white - skirt, blouse, long jacket. But then you get to her ankles, which are rather daringly exposed, and those sensational shoes with large paste buckles. So maybe she wasn't quite so demure after all....
