Retro Era Bird Brooch
This lovely woman is wearing a large, extravagant enameled bird brooch with a faceted colored glass stone belly. Her earrings are a trio of large metal balls, typical of the Retro era. At her throat is a puffy heart locket. Her husband is also wearing pins on his lapel, but we are unable to see them in enough detail to know what they depict. This picture dates to the late 1940s.
