Measures 2” in diameter. This pretty compact has beautiful sky-blue guilloche enamel over finely detailed engine-turning. Handpainted pink roses are linked with twining leaves and stems and sapphire blue ribbons. At the center is an inlaid gold leaf butterfly with exquisite engraved detail. The compact is of silver-tone metal. Inside, the mechanism for dispensing loose powder works perfectly. There is no damage to the quarter-moon-shaped mirror. The small rouge pot is missing. The lid of the compact remains tightly closed when not in use and is easily opened with a fingernail. No damage to enamel or metal parts.
