Henry Schreiner established the business named for himself after World
War II. After his death in 1951, his daughter and her husband continued
the business until it closed in the late 1970s. Schreiner jewelry is
known for its outstanding designs and excellent craftsmanship. Even
when not signed it can often be recognized by its use of "hook and eye"
construction and reverse-set stones.
