SARAH COVENTRY
Sarah Coventry jewelry was first sold in 1949. The company was founded by Charles H. Stuart in Newark, New Jersey. This fashion jewelry was most commonly sold at home parties until the company changed hands in the 1980s. Known for its versatility, this jewelry was called the "Finished Look of Fashion" during the 1960s and 1970s. The jewelry has had a variety of marks over the years, including: COVENTRY, SARAH COVENTRY, SARAH COV., and SAC. Mr. Stuart filed for bankruptcy in 1981, and the company dropped out of sight for a period of time. In 2002 the jewelry was once again available on the Home Shopping Network, and in 2003 they resumed selling at home parties, bringing the company history full circle.
