Stunning 9.5 Carat Synthetic Yellow Sapphire "Countess Madeleine" Ring
Item #DQ191111
Ring front measures 1 x 1" and rises 5/8" proud. The central stone, an emerald-cut man-made yellow sapphire, measures 5/8" in diameter and weighs 9.5 carats. Ring size is 5-3/4. This monumental ring is made of substantial sterling silver which rises in a strongly architectural style to three stacked tiers of stones. The emerald-cut sapphire is a dazzling lemon yellow. It is surrounded by sparkling leaded glass crystals. Marked 925 and with an infinity symbol and a diamond which appears to have the initials CM inside. This is the mark of the "Countess Madeleine" line of jewelry created by Madeleine Herling, owner of the Jolie Gabor jewelry store and the Countess Madeleine Galleries in New York City during the 1980s until her death in 1995. We believe this ring dates to the 1980s, though this has not yet been fully confirmed by research. The glamor and glitz of this magnificent ring are hard to adequately describe. It is a showstopper that truly must be seen to be appreciated. No missing or dead stones. No scratches or other damage to the flawless sapphire. Light patina of vintage silver. $785.00 (Includes insured shipping to a U.S.A. address)
