Measures 3/8 x 3/4". Sterling band is 3/8" wide. Ring size is 9. A highly polished slab of hematite is cradled in silver and perches atop a wide band. The simple, elegant design is strongly Constructivist and absolutely Modern. Stamped with the artist's mark. Margaret De Patta (1903-1964) is credited with having begun the studio jewelry art movement on the West Coast. Her work is rarely seen, and widely desired.
