Measures 3/8 x 3/4". Sterling band is 3/8" wide. Ring size is 9. A highly polished slab of hematite is cradled in silver and perches atop a wide band. The simple, elegant design is strongly Constructivist and absolutely Modern. Stamped with the artist's mark. Margaret De Patta (1903-1964) is credited with having begun the studio jewelry art movement on the West Coast. Her work is rarely seen, and widely desired. No chips, scratches, or other damage to stone. Light patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed. (SOLD)
