Extraordinary Walter Lampl Art Deco Carved Jade 14K Ring

Front measures 5/8 x almost 1-1/2". Ring size is a delicate 4-1/4. This is an extraordinary ring from the late 1920s. The rich yellow gold setting has tiny beading around the edge and is crimped to hold the carved jade perfectly. The floral-theme carving is beautifully crafted and pierced all the way through. The colors of the jade range from pale apple-green to medium green. The jade was imported in the 1920s by Walter Lampl from what was then called Peking. Marked WL and 14K. No wear or damage to jade or gold. (SOLD)
