Very Large Zuni Inlay Ring

Front measures 1 x 2”. Ring size is 6-3/4. This beautiful and very substantial ring dates to the 1970s. The lapidary work is tight and seamless, with bands of turquoise and onyx flanked by lustrous mother of pearl. The setting is classic and traditional, with finely worked shadow boxing and applied leaf and scroll motifs. The central element is banded by a twisted rope detail. The ring appears to have been signed at one time, but the mark is worn and obscured. No damage to stones or silverwork.
