Miriam Haskell Opal & Pastels Stick Pin

Measures 3" long. Decorative element measures 1" in diameter. Open-backed glass faux opals are surrounded by pink and peridot green rhinestones, faceted amethyst glass beads, tiny golden Niki pearls, and rose montee' rhinestones. All are wired to a filigree back plated in Haskell's well-known Russian gold. Marked MIRIAM HASKELL on a horseshoe shape plaque. This stick pin dates to circa 1948, during the Frank Hess era. No missing or dead stones. No wear to plating. Stick pin is slightly bent. The clasp at the tip of the stick-in appears to be a replacement, as it lacks Haskell's typical embellishments.
