Wild Schiaparelli Style Necklace, Bracelet, and Earrings Set

Necklace measures 17-1/4" long and 1" wide. Bracelet measures 6-7/8" long and 1-1/8" wide. Earrings measure 1 x 1-1/4". This wonderful set is from a collection of jewelry acquired from an old neighborhood jewelry store in San Francisco. The current owner of this business found these pieces in a box in the back room, never worn and in their original box. This is true "new old stock," perfectly preserved for 40 to 50 years. The pear-shaped stones are bi-color, in rich midnight blue and ruby red. They are accented with gold-to-pink aurora borealis rhinestones. The setting is silver-tone, with antiqued areas to add richness and depth. The bracelet has a fold-over clasp which holds well. The earring clip backs hold well. No missing or dead stones, no wear to plating. The hard case is mirrored inside the top lid. The case shows signs of age inside and out, with foxing and brown spotting. (SOLD)
