Royal Heart Locket Pendant with Tabby

Measures 1-1/4 x 2". This pretty antiqued gold-tone heart is hinged on the back to open horizontally. The heart has ornate foliar stamping and is topped with a fleur de lis motif crown. On the back is a silver-tone finding marked TABBY PAT. APL FOR. This Tabby finding allows the locket to be used as a zipper pull on an old-fashioned style metal zipper tab. Tabby findings can often be seen on Walter Lampl jewelry, though this piece is not marked as Lampl. A round jump ring is soldered inside the top of the crown so the locket can also be worn as a pendant on a necklace chain.
