Tulla Booth Sterling & Bone Necklace

Tulla Booth Sterling & Bone Necklace

Item #DC11314

Measures 18-1/2" long, including central element. Central element measures 2-1/4 x 4-3/4". Fringe dangles 3-1/2" long. The necklace chain is comprised of carved bone disks, hollow silver, beads, and faceted glass crystal beads. Silver shell motifs are applied to the triangular silver breastplate, flanking the large cabochon of polished bone. The 5 dangles are strings of small bone and silver beads, with tipped with the same decorative elements. Concealed bayonet clasp holds well. Marked STERLING TULLA BOOTH. The artist is a noted photographer whose gallery is in Sag Harbor. Although active as a jewelry designer during the 1980s, she stopped creating jewelry about 20 years ago. This necklace was purchased as a gift at a Florida Bergdorf Goodman department store. An original paper label is affixed to the back, but is no longer legible. Rarely worn by the recipient, there is no damage or signs of wear. Light patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed. $225.00 (Includes insured shipping to a U.S.A. address)
