Necklace measures 16-3/4" long and 1-1/2" wide at front. Earrings measure 1-1/4" in diameter. This amazing set nearly defies description. The color of the lava-like molded art glass stones shifts, depending on the angle from which they are viewed, from chartreuse to hot fuchsia pink, with hints of blue and purple along the way. This is like an aurora borealis finish, but much deeper, richer, more vivid, and more opaque than a typical aurora borealis. These rippling art glass stones are framed by white milk glass cabochons and lavender rhinestones. All stones are prong-set in gold-tone. The necklace is unmarked. The earrings are marked Hobe'. The earring clips hold well and feature the clear vinyl roller unique to Hobe' earrings. This roller-back makes for great comfort and ease of wearing. No missing or dead stones. No wear to plating. This is a truly spectacular and extremely unusual set dating to the psychedelic 1960s. (SOLD)
