Victorian Revival "Dog Collar" Necklace with Locket

Measures 16-1/4" long. Locket dangles to 2-1/4". This charming necklace is made to wear high on the throat, as a "dog collar." The 1 x 1-1/4" locket opens easily, but remains tightly shut when snapped shut. A smoky gray glass faux moonstone cabochon sits at the center of the locket, and another sits at the bottom of the etched metal band, anchoring the locket attachment site. The pattern etched into the links of the collar is a delicate Arts & Crafts style floral design. At each end of the collar is a repousse cupid. The piece is plated in antiqued gold-tone. Hook clasp allows the necklace to be fully adjustable up to 16" in length. Some minor wear to plating on locket, more on back.
