Measures 17-3/4" long and 1-1/8" wide at front. This is an older example of Siam Sterling jewelry, probably dating to before World War II. Marked SIAM THAI NAKON STERLING and with the earlier company hallmark. Begun in the late 1920s and in full production by the early 1930s, this famed company popularized and gave to the world the traditional Thai niello artform. The necklace has excellent weight and beautiful craftsmanship. Bayonet clasp holds well. Very good condition. (SOLD)
