Gucci Enameled Sterling Dog Collar Necklace

Measures 3/8" wide and 15" inside circumference. Striped with bands of green and royal blue enamel, this hinged, buckle-closure necklace is designed to be worn high on the throat, like a collar. Marked GUCCI ITALY 925 F1195. The component pieces are also marked with a production number - 1. Strongly Art Deco in style, this necklace dates to the early 1970s. Weighs 1.9 ounces, or 55 grams. No damage to enamel. The silver was plated with rhodium for a permanent shine, and sections of this have worn off. The silver itself is in good condition, with no scratches or other signs of wear.
