Exquisite Early Mexican Silver Necklace

Measures 16" long and 7/8" wide. This beautifully designed necklace is cast from heavy high grade 980 silver (compared to sterling, which is 925). It is based on the classic early designs of Spratling, but is simply marked SILVER 980 TAXCO. Dates to before 1948. The piece weighs 159 gms. Sturdy slide clasp holds well. Beautiful patina of vintage silver. (SOLD)
