Measures 19-1/4" long and 7/8" wide. A Modernist interpretation of the Native American bear paw motif, with turquoise blue enameling inset behind arching copper "paws." This necklace is a brilliant merging of traditional and modern design, with a color scheme and materials which are faithful to the source of inspiration. Marked Matisse in script with the copyright symbol. Light patina of the shiny lacquer on some of the links adds to the vintage appeal of this piece. No verdigris. (SOLD)
