Julio Pink Lampwork Bead Necklace & Earrings Set

Necklace measures 32" long. Earrings measure 1 x 1-1/2". The beautiful beads of this necklace and earrings set were handmade by skilled beadmakers in the Marner factory in Providence, RI during the 1950s. All show individual shadings of pink and rose. The larger beads were called "sugar beads" by the Marner company, as they were rolled in crushed glass to give the sugary coating you see here. The beads were hand-linked on gold-tone wire at the factory, which also created the earring findings. One earring is marked JEWELS by JULIO. Spring ring clasp holds well, as do the earring clips.
