Quetzlcoatl Married Metal Signed Mexican Silver Cufflinks

Item #BK1661510

Measure 7/8" in diameter. These dramatic cufflinks show the fanged face of Quetzlcoatl, the Feathered Serpent. The face is worked in silver, bronze, and copper against a crushed stone inlay. Marked STERLING TAXCO and with a conjoined JMA mark. One cufflink also has an eagle mark, with what appears to be the number 1. Toggle backs hold well. No damage to crushed stone or silver. Normal patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed. These cufflinks date to the early 1950s. (SOLD)
