Ring front measures 1 x 1-1/4". Band is 3/8" wide at narrowest point at back. Ring size 12. This magnificent piece of Zuni sterling and lapidary work is by the husband and wife team of Wayne and Josie Panteah. They began producing jewelry in 1973. Two nuggets of beautiful sky-blue turquoise with fine matrix are set in a figure of eight design with overlaid sterling leaves and beading. It is balanced with a finely worked chevron of oyster, obsidian, and coral. This design is both traditional and modern, with elements of the best Zuni craftsmanship. Marked W.J. PANTEAH.
