Early Victoria Flemming Black Gazelle Cufflinks
Item #BE162204
Measure 3/4 x 1". The white porcelain of these Victoria Flemming cufflinks is slightly domed. The handpainted design shows the head of a black and gold gazelle, with red and green leaves on golden stems framing the gazelle on each side. Marked VICTORIA FLEMMING, these cufflinks predate the later addition of the letters N.Y. and the patent number seen on later pieces. These cufflinks appear to be from her very earliest production when she was selling in Greenwich Village, before becoming associated with the Custom Shop shirtmakers. No significant signs of wear or use. Toggle backs hold well. $145.00 (Includes insured shipping to a U.S.A. address)
