Modernist Pietra Dura Agate Cufflinks

Measure 7/8" in diameter. Irregularly shaped tesserae of banded agate and other stone are tightly inlaid in a field of black onyx within a gold-plated sterling frame. The craftsmanship is outstanding. Marked STERLING T2. This mark has been seen on jewelry crafted by Ed Weiner and other Modern masters and appears to be the name of a findings company.
