Marvella was established in 1911 by the Weinrich Brothers Company. It is believed that the company began in Philadelphia, but later records place it in New York City. Marvella is best known for its high quality simulated pearl and crystal bead jewelry. Marvella designs tend to be classic and elegant, lending themselves to a wide variety of clothing styles and eras. In 1982 Marvella was purchased by Trifari. In 1988 both companies became subsidiaries of Crystal Brands Jewelry Group. Marvella used a variety of marks over the years, such as Marvellissimo, Marvellesque, Marvelique, Marvelustre, and many more.
