Walburt Sterling & Topaz Glass Barrette

Measures 2-1/8" long and 1/2" wide. This rare barrette was made in 1944 or 1945, the only years this line was produced, prior to the death of Walter Lampl, Sr. The rich amber-colored faceted glass stones are prong-set, unfoiled, and openbacked, with slightly concave tops. The clip mechanism holds well. Marked WALBURT STERLING. The vintage patina of this old silver has been left undisturbed.
