
Vintage Alpaca Mexican Earrings

Measure 7/8 x 2". These beautiful earrings date to the 1940s to early 1950s and were made in Guadalajara. The openwork designs are strongly Modernist and relate to the work of the Mexican masters who were working at that time. Marked ALPACA GUAD and with a 2 digit number that can not be easily read. Alpaca is a silver-tone metal alloy of nickel, zinc, and copper. Screw backs hold well. Very light patina, but no oxidation. No dents or other damage. (SOLD)
