Measure 7/8 x 1-1/8". Semicircles of bright copper rectangles frame angled fan-shapes with burgundy enameling. Marked Matisse in script, with the copyright symbol. These earrings can be seen on page 118 of Copper Art Jewelry by Burkholz and Kaplan. Clip backs hold well. No wear to shiny copper finish. There is a clear lacquer glaze over the enameling, which shows some minor crackling. No chips or other damage to enamel. (SOLD)
