Earrings drop 1-5/8". The large carved balls measure about 5/8" in diameter. These amazingly complex carvings have freely moving spheres inside, as well, to a depth of at least 3 independently moving balls. Adjustable clip backs for greater comfort. Earring clips are marked with the U.S. Patent number 2,961,854. This patent was awarded to P.E. Kettell in 1960. Silver-tone clips hold well.
