Walter Lampl Art Deco Jade 10K Earrings

Beautiful jade cabochons measure 5/8", or about 13 mm., in diameter. They are simply and elegantly set with 3 golden claws onto screw back settings. The jade has sensational dark apple green color and very fine speckling of a darker green that adds depth and richness to the stones. One earring back is marked WL 10K. The part of the screw back which touches the earlobe is an interesting clover shape, which increases both comfort and holding ability. No signs of wear or use. These represent Lampl's early production and his fascination with jade, as discussed in the 2004 article in VFCJ. (SOLD)
