Measure 7/8" in diameter. Open-backed glass faux opals are surrounded by pink and peridot green rhinestones, faceted amethyst glass beads, tiny golden Niki pearls, and rose montee' rhinestones. All are wired to Russian gold-tone filigree backs. Marked MIRIAM HASKELL on the flat earring backs. French clips hold well. These outstanding earrings date to the Frank Hess era, circa 1948.
