Hilario Lopez Mexican Sterling Earrings

Measure 7/8 x 1-7/8". These beautiful sterling leaf-motif earrings are very substantial. They are marked HL STERLING MEXICO. This is the mark of Hilario Lopez, who worked as a master silversmith for Margot van Voorhies Carr. These earrings are very reminiscent of the graceful, elegant styles produced by Margot, but indications are that they are very early (before 1948) and predate his time at her taller. Each earring follows the curve of the ear when worn. Screw backs hold well. Natural patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed. $115.00 (Includes insured shipping to a U.S.A. address)
