"To Florence" Silver Love Token Charm

Measures 3/4" in diameter. This prettily engraved love token is dedicated "To Florence" on one side and marked with the entwined initials A and I on the reverse. A jump ring has been soldered to the top of the token to allow it to be attached to a bracelet. No scratches of other damage. Moderate patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed. Love tokens were made during the mid to late 1800s from coin silver dimes and worn on bangle-style charm bracelets. They were sometimes engraved by young men for their lovers.
