Brooch measures 1-3/4 x 2". Earrings measure 1/2 x 1". This classic set, designed by Alfred Philippe in 1944, displays all of the best of elements which set Trifari ahead of the competition. Jewel-tone rhinestones in sapphire blue and ruby red are accented by brilliant white rhinestones. Large open-backed glass faux moonstone cabochons add mystery and hold the eye. The brooch is marked TRIFARI STERLING DES. PAT. NO. 137542. The earrings are marked TRIFARI with a crown over the T. No missing or dead stones. No wear to gold plating. Safety clasp holds well. Pin stem slightly bent. Earring clip backs hold well.
