Measures 1-1/4" in diameter. This slightly domed brooch is beautifully carved with peony flowers. The rich red cinnabar is of the finest quality, composed of dozens of ultra-thin layers of lacquer. The carved cinnabar is set simply prong-set in elegant yellow gold. Marked WL 14KT. The older style safety clasp holds securely. No chips or other damage to cinnabar or gold setting.
