Black Enamel Victorian Mourning Bar Pin

Measures 2-1/2" long. This classic bar pin is deceptively simple. The center of the bar is engraved with a feathered motif and patinated a flat black. This is bordered by shiny black enamel. A tiny clear glass rose-cut crystal sits at the center of the brooch. Early style safety clasp holds well. This is a mourning piece and dates to circa 1905. No loss of enameling.
