Dress clip front measures 1 x 2". Lorgnette, when unfolded, measures 3/4 x 3-3/4". This astoundingly lovely dress clip is shaped in the form of an urn holding flowers. The openwork design is pure Art Deco, paved with brilliant white rhinestone pastes. The lorgnette holds slightly tinted glass, with no magnification or vision correction. Marked STERLING and with a backwards F connected to a K. This is the mark for Frank Krementz of Newark, New Jersey. The condition of this rare piece is outstanding. No missing or dead stones. All folding parts operate smoothly and latches hold well. The sterling has been rhodium plated for enduring shine and shows minimal patina. (SOLD)
