Measures 1-7/8" in diameter. This exquisitely detailed silver disc represents the ancient calendar of the Aztec people. Dating to before 1948, the brooch is of good weight and extraordinary quality. Marked HECHO EN MEXICO 925 FHC. Safety clasp holds well, and also has a loop which allows it to be worn as a pendant. Rich patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed, as this adds definition and allows the fine detail to be seen more clearly. (SOLD)
