Fenichel Will Rogers Mechanical Cowboy Brooch

Measures 1 x 2-1/2". This charming brooch appears to represent Will Rogers. The facial features and lock of hair hanging over the forehead look very much like him. The oversized cowboy hat is hinged, so can be worn back, revealing the face, or forward so it looks like the cowboy is taking a nap. The neckerchief and fringed chaps complete the Western motif. Marked FENICHEL. Safety clasp holds well. Very light patina of gold-tone plating on the hat. This pin dates to the World War II era. (SOLD)
