Early Walter Lampl Enameled Flowers Brooch
Item #DA139229
Measures 1-1/2 x 2-7/8". This beautiful old brooch is an early Lampl piece, dating to the 1920s to very early 1930s. The textured brass circles are enamled with delicate blue, white, and black flowers and leaves. The circles are bound by a band enameled in white with a Greek key design. The balanced symmetry of this piece appears to be inspired by butterfly and bow motifs. Marked WALTER LAMPL. The safety clasp holds well. The pin stem is extra long, as is often seen in Victorian jewelry. Some light wear and missing enamel can be seen on close inspection or with magnification, but this does not affect the wearability or vintage charm of this piece. Light wear to the plating on the back. No verdigris. $145.00 (Includes insured shipping to a U.S.A. address)
