Measures 1-3/8 x 2-3/4". This beautiful enamel brooch is made in the classic shape of an oval buckle. The engine-turned enameling is in relief, with the woven-pattern white enamel sitting higher than the mauve border which is subtly striped beneath the enamel. Marked STERLING. Old-fashioned T-hinge and c-clasp indicate its Victorian origins. No chips or other damage to exquisite enameling.
