Marboux (Boucher) Abstract Brooch & Earrings Set

Brooch measures 2-1/4 x 2-1/2". Earrings measure 1-1/4" in diameter. This highly sculptural brooch and earring set is platd in very shiny silver-tone. The deeper areas have been "antiqued" with black patination. The form is filled with life and energy. The brooch is unmarked. One earring is marked MARBOUX with a copyright symbol. This is a mark used by Boucher after 1955. The other earring is marked 582. Boucher commonly used a numbering system as an indication of date and product line. Safety clasp of brooch and earring clip backs hold well. No damage to plating. (SOLD)
